Hanbury Windmill Club

 

In July 1972, Mrs Joan Evans founded the Windmill Club for over 55s. The object of the Club was 'the provision of companionship, entertainment and interest in convivial surroundings'.

 

This thriving Club meets in the Memorial Hall each month on the first Tuesday at 2.30 pm. Business matters are followed by refreshment and games, with speakers often presenting topics of interest. In the spring and summer, coach outings are organised and in the summer there is the annual holiday, often to a seaside resort.
